As for your remark about taking the oil, get real. Even Bush and his backers knew that it would have been lunacy to simply seize the oil.

Keep on sipping your Right Wing Koolaid and you'll be fine.

And by the way, I'm no left winger. If I had my way the left wing loonies and the Religious Right would both get packed off somewhere remote to throw spitballs at each other, and leave those of us with some common sense to govern this country in a sound manner, both fiscally and socially, and with a return of some degree of ethics in government.
