Rightwingers are guilty of corruption. They have broken the law with Abramoff. Dozens of them maybe. But we'll let the courts decide who is guilty, and who simply took legal contributions and did nothing in return. That is not illegal.

Harry Reid flatly stated he has nothing to hide with Abramoff becauase he did nothing for him. Not a thing. Abramoff's firm gave him a contribution and that was it. So understand, simply taking money is not illegal. If it were, then the entire GOP would be put in jail now. Abramoff gave to them all. But which ones gave back? Those are the ones going to jail.

Why Delay and others broke the law is that they took money then took meetings, changed votes, changed laws and plotted one Indian casino against another to pay back Abramoff's clients. Also, this charity of Delay's which Abramoff funded was used for dirty tricks and TV ads against democrats. That's probably illegal. It goes on and on. Not reporting contributions is also criminal. Duke Cunningham got 2.4 million from defence contractors, for instance.
