"The justices turned the accountability argument upside down, noting voucher schools are not subject to the same rigorous state regulations that apply to public schools."

This is my biggest problem with vouchers. Private schools can pick and choose their students, public schools cannot. So vouchers will tend to bleed off the students who don't have special needs, driving up the per student costs in the public schools. But, because their numbers will have dropped, their funding will go down.
