How could you miss that?

I was chatting today with a friend who had seen Narnia. He said he couldn't see the claimed Christian allegory in it. I mentioned what you said about the lion's death and resurrection. He said it was a witch who did that and anyway then the lion killed her by ripping out her throat. Not particularly Christ-like. So my question is, are you sure about the allegory?
