[Onischka] allows from a few - to a few hundred (alternate) - points up on the DOW, to be followed by the onset of cyclical weakness. I wonder if that is where the current top-picking sentiment is coming from. A number of "trading" boards/threads (which shall remain nameless) I routinely monitor for my personal ad hoc sentiment readings are loaded with folks expecting a turn downwards either right here in the next couple of weeks. The similarity of thought is really quite something, though maybe not too surprising given the multi-year range we've been living in.
