Soliciting views on Molecular Dynamics. I think I want to add them to the portfolio but I want opinions. this is a pick and shovel company. Thier MegaBACE 100 Sequencer is getting rave reviews. It is being presented at the International Genome Sequencing and Analysis Conference in Hilton Head and is purported to be 5 times faster than competitive sequencers. The technology which is a partership with Ampersham relies on capillary electrophoresis. the capillary system allows sequencing to be conducted in a series of polymer containing narrow tubes instead of a slab gel. MegaBAC cansequence an estimated 600 bases per capillary in 70 minutes. This is a substantial and gowing market. the total market cap is $250 million and the market for high throuput DNA sequencing is estimated to be about $400 million and growing at 20% a year. V1
