Lately I have been reading posts that attempt to whitewash the wrongdoings of Bush and Cheney or justify their action. The funny part of it all is that these posts came out so very long (YEARS!) after the fact. Which of course gives the writers a lot of time to conjure up "plausible" looking scenarios for explicating matters on behalf of Bush and Cheney or to provide "extenuating" circumstances for their past policies and actions. LOL! .
