Will,if a stock were to go up ten times does not constitute a sell trigger in my world. The only time I would sell an investment would be for the following reasons,1) the companies stock price has exceeded its NPV,2) I have lost faith in management,3) the company has a poor record of creating shareholder value,4) I over estimated the valuation 5) I have found something better and need to raise cash.Valuation in my world is were an investor has to focus on at all times. To think you are smart enough to predict stock prices in the short term is using the greater fools theory ( and that does not work ) Bre-X learned me a very hard lesson.
