As far as entering prices. What I did last year was enter every single stock in alpha order in a portfolio at Quote.com (actually split among 2 portfolio). From there, you can then download relevant info straight into excel, then cut and paste just the closing prices into your excel file with all of the contest info. Makes it much quicker. The only downside is the few that you will have problems with (mainly foreign stocks, for which a currency conversion is needed anyway, and I went to Yahoo for those). You may already have a more advanced method going on, but PM me if you want to explore this further.
