Just listened to the interview with Dr. Shorr on the internet. First off, I must say that he was extremely articulate, as would be expected of such a degreed scientist. Apparently, he has 100 medical patents on his own, and has written over 100 articles! First he gave an overview of the Stem Cell biz and the fact that BCLI uses bone marrow ADULT cells, which do not have ethical considerations. He also mentioned that 4M in the US have P.D. BCLI has a proprietary delivery system to the brain to get the stem cells into the target areas in which 2 type of cells in the BCLI method work synegistically to create "STUNNING" results. BCLI will begin HUMAN CLINICAL TRIALS and get fast track and work with the best people in the industry. Asked where they would do all the research, he said that was up to Drs Melamed/Offen, but would probably be in the US, since they are the leader in drug and scientific research. BCLI method is the most promising because of their unique launch into the proper areas for stem cells to transfer into the new cells, to aid the neurological disease. He said it may be possible to store stem cells like blood, so you could store your own stem cells for future use!! In 2006 - Could expect entry and COMPLETION of Clinical Trials and FDA results , those are the milestones for this year. In all a great 30 min interview, and they will have BCLI back on the show later in the year to see how they are doing. That's my synopsis...anyone else add anything? TIA.
