Do you dispute my contention that number of offspring is inversely correlated with wealth? I believe it is well accepted - not the same as true. I'm sure I've seen figures showing the decline in birth rate as the standard of living rises in a country. I have also read that the populations of the wealthiest countries are falling, while those of poor countries are rising. In NZ, I'm prepared to bet that the poorest 20% of women have more children than the richest 20%. You want a citation? I thought you might.
