Symphony 2001 Licensing Agreement with News Canada Inc.

Sheldon, another release after the market closed today - the second release within a week. You may be right about this being just the beginning.

You mentioned in an earlier post that you had visited their office. Can you tell us more about the company - the web site is a bit sparse in terms of corporate information (e.g. subsidiaries, employees, locations etc.). Did you get an investor package; does it contain this type of detail?

Thanks.

SEPTEMBER 16, 1997

Millennium Communications Signs Symphony 2001 Licensing
Agreement with News Canada Inc.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--MILLENNIUM COMMUNICATIONS INC., ASE-MLU ("MLU")
is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to build an
integrated voice and data management system for News Canada Inc.,
providers of camera-ready articles used by major dailies and
community newspapers coast-to coast. News Canada has also
licensed Millennium's Symphony 2001 product that will allow News
Canada to seamlessly maintain and update their print publication
on their web site. News Canada publishes up to 300 articles on a
monthly basis and the need to find an efficient process to do this
was paramount.

Millennium is also creating a web-based News & Information Village
for News Canada that will provide a special area for clients who
wish to target publishers visiting the web site with additional
information to the monthly publication. Clients will lease a
building in the Village, which will link to a mini web site. The
buildings will be leased on a quarterly basis. Advertising
revenue is expected to exceed $250,000.00 annually.

News Canada utilizes a uniquely successful method of generating
long term positive media coverage in a camera-ready tabloid
format. Current subscriptions of Canada News are available in
tabloid, on disk, and soon to be available via the World Wide Web.

"News Canada is very excited about our new multi-faceted web site.
With Millennium's leading edge technology, we will be able to
provide our editors with up to date news and information as well
as archived data by category and date. The benefit of using the
Symphony 2001 software is that it gives News Canada complete
control of the content and of the management of our web site,
without the need to know complex Internet programming languages.
This is something that other companies could not offer us. This
is only the beginning of the innovative plans Millennium and News
Canada have in providing and maintaining information to the
media.", said Ruth Douglas, Editor at News Canada. News Canada is
owned by MDC Communication Corp.

"This gives us an opportunity to showcase the flexibility of our
new integrated software products and will represent a huge area of
growth over the next few years for the company. This technology
will be indispensable to any company or organization that has an
Internet web presence. It is projected that 83 percent of all
Canadian businesses will have an Internet web site in the next 12
months.", said Donna-Marie Anton, VP Marketing for Millennium.

Millennium Communications Inc. is an electronic commerce and new
media company that assists businesses to successfully develop and
deploy products and services through innovative applications of
technologies.
