This Monday, 9/15, the stock of SPIRE was added to the model portfolio of Jay Saxena's "Hot Stock Digest" newsletter, which I personally subscribe to. It was purchased at the open Monday morning. This fella has an impressive track record for as long as I have followed him. The return on my portfolio, having purchased many, but not all, of the stocks in his model portfolio, is now about 125% YTD. He has a strong following. I would not short this stock. You will get burned as you try to cover.
