If China was growing any faster than it is now it would spin into outer space. Again, conisder the pace of development -- hundreds of millions of people moved into cities over a period of ten or fiftenn years. There are now 172 cities in China over 1 million and several hundred million more expected in the next ten years in major urban centers -- let it sink in -- hundreds of millions more.

Let this sink in.
1) Booms do not go on forever
2) The Us is slowing
3) Shanghai property is crashing
4) China is overheated

You look at what is happening now and project forever into the future. It is a classic mistake.

YES China is the ascendent world power.
It may take 100 years to pull it off
It will NOT be straight line ramp up any more than the US was a straight ramp up based on activity one saw in 1928

That is how flawed your assumptions are.
