I donno about political risk with the idea that gold will rise and all mines will be taken over and nationalized.....However government changes can be a problem...just depends.

With regards to NGX and hedging....to me it makes no sense to be wanting hedges here at any price. What if next year gold is $800? The only hedges I will tolerate as an investor are hedges required for financing a mine. EPM is one. The company really has not choice in this regard. You want to borrow money you hedge some gold for the bank.

Maybe NGX is tettering on the edge and need to know what their income is? I don't understand the desire to hedge here if it isn't required....but I am a bozo so maybe there is a reason I am not aware of....
