I suppose so; a patient could do without Vitamin C supplementation for a while, and perhaps other things could be substituted for it if Vitamin C was deemed beneficial (in particular for its anti-oxidant effects, as other anti-oxidants don't seem to mess up Velcade). Further, the level of binding in vivo is not addressed here, though there is good reason to figure there will be at least some interference.
