You said a Sunni state would be attractive to them. That's ridiculous. They already have a state, it's called IRAQ.

Why don't stop blathering and go back and read what I wrote once again..

Of course the Sunnis want a single state.. Just like the one they had previously, where all the Shi'as and Kurds were second class citizens and heavily repressed so that the Sunnis could control the oil that resided in their areas.

They have no interest in a separate Sunni state, devoid of economic resources, and bordering two economically powerful rivals (Shias and Kurds)..

Is it any wonder why Iraqis view the US as FOREIGN OCCUPIERS? Is it?

Uh.. lessee.. because they were the ones who previous held power before the US overthrew them?

OR... they are the ones who WANT unrestrained power now that they think they have it?

Btw, this is hardly a debate. This is like mud wrestling with a pig...

But I don't getting dirty once and awhile.. ;0)
