I wasen't around the last time AMAT split but I hear from this thread that it went down after. Not for one sec. do I think that that could happen again just because it happened last time. I purchased AMAT a few weeks ago at 97 1/2 and averaged down to 96 and I mentioned a stock split was in the near future and am happy it's this near. I really see AMAT taking off after it splits, people like me the average guy don't usually buy stocks near $100 like AMAT. Look at DELL, INTC, CPQ, MSFT they all split this year and have rocketed back up.

I see 65 by mid Nov. with a split price in Oct. of around 55..($110) AMAT has support in this area and has created a base for it self and will test the resistance of 102 next week and I predict with a strong market this time it will hold and that's how I see 110 at split date.

Dave.
