It is almost silly to read about people calling 10% annual growth "mature"... I think we'll be in growth mode well past my lifetime. In 50 years I expect to have censors in my body helping my knees and organs work better, perhaps networked to my physician so the hospital can monitor how I am doing much as we have telemetry for space shots now. Our autos are already starting to have some of this..... We'll need all sorts of analog bio sensors... and lets not forget the electronics we all want to carry and run on a 1.5V lithium watch battery but provide all the power of a smoking fast workstation. I remember when the idiots thought the PC growth phase was over because every house in the US that could afford one had a PC.
