If we had a third party President, what would happen in the Congress? I still think that any legitimate third party has to grow in Congress to become the difference makers.

Such a party could contain about twenty Senators from McCain on the left to Lieberman on the right. The ebb and flow of having a changing majority after every election would eliminate some fo the entrenchment we are now experiencing.
