Amanpour doesn't live in the US. IF one of her calls had been listened to (CNN has reported she wasn't monitored at all) it was because she was talking to someone in or connected to a terror group. Perfectly ok to monitor all such people. Besides since she lives in London, the domestic monitoring angle doesn't apply at all.

Apparently you are opposed to all spying on terrorists, not just when they call people in the US. No wonder Americans don't trust liberal Democrats with national security.
