Mad Catz Signs North American Distribution Agreement with In2Games for Gametrak(TM) Motion Capture system
SAN DIEGO, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (Amex: MCZ; Toronto), the world's leading third-party video game accessory maker, today announced an exclusive North American distribution agreement with In2Games. In2Games is a UK-based hardware manufacturer and entertainment software publisher. Mad Catz has acquired the rights to distribute the revolutionary Gametrak(TM) motion capture system and will launch two compatible game titles for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC to retailers in the North American market.

This new motion capture technology will be used in a series of games to be distributed by Mad Catz in the first quarter of this year for a variety of consoles and the PC. The technology has the ability to accurately simulate many human movements down the millimeter and will be an integral part of many upcoming sports related titles. Mad Catz will be promoting this new technology and the games that use it in the 1st Quarter of next year as they launch.
