VZ - I bot some shares of Verizon today as part of my move to make my portfolio more defensive. The stock is cheap at 12x 2006 EPS estimates with a 5% dividend yield. I also like the investments they are making in the fixed line business. The wireless business is of course first rate.

Using 15x as my target multiple, I get $39, which would imply 23% upside. That is almost 30% total return when the dividend is included.
