Tommaso, do you have an account in Canada so that those payouts "stay in" Canadian currency? I also have 'some' Canadian stocks however I assumed (being a US citizen) that payoffs (dividends, etc.) were converted to the US$.

As an aside, ever since '00, I have always kept my Canadian currency every time I traveled there, at first for convenience and the past couple of years because of dollar devaluation (it'll definitely benefit me this summer up there).
