Peter, Humility comes from his belief in God. He knows that he is just a servant to mankind, and not the main man. It can also be used to keep opponents off guard. Any body from down around Texas knows about the "Aw shucks" routine. They can run ropes around those New Yorkers, who don't know what hit them when they realize they've been had. GW knows how important those people are to his safety, and appreciates their efforts. On the other hand, Hillary hates the military, and has openly said so, and is leery of security agency's because they probably know the truth about her, and in a certain situation, may ring the bell on her. Once GW was elected for the second term, he knew the dems couldn't do anything to him, and they are hopping mad that he has shown them up for who they are.
