re: Charleston, SC doesn't fit that picture at all; instead its more like FLA. Charleston is on the coast and the Atlantic is its 'east side'; strong historic building guidelines; higher construction costs due to those historic guidelines and I believe incomes tend to be higher due to a lot of 'old' money in the city. It's a wonderful city... I was there for a few days over Thanksgiving holiday. Yes, I was there briefly a few years ago for work. Then drove to Columbia, SC..........there couldn't be two cities more opposite. ted
