Michal, OK its JAN 10 and half.com's servers are running like honey on a cold day as per usual. It's been that way for days. It takes the server 3 minutes to transmit a basic account page to me over my DSL when other sites are instantaneous.

I'm back here mentioning this stuff to WARN investors and I think investors should punish eBay's management by dumping the stock. All of the following leads me to believe that eBay's management is TOTALLY out of touch with it's clientele.

I can't log into my half.com account but I can log into my eBay account. They are both the same account! Same username/password. I just can't log in through half.com.

After numerous complains their answer? Purge cache! Purge cache! I've pointed out that I run my browser with NO cache and I've purged it. Their reply? Purge Cache! I insist that's not the problem. Their reply? PURGE CACHE!

That's their answer to everything because their "help" people don't know crap about computers. None of the complaint reach the correct tech people.

Numerous items on half have incorrect listings. If you search for the artist you won't find them. The'll be listed as someone else. I've notified or tried to notify half of the problem but they ignore it.

Many sellers are ignoring the listing rules. When reported half does nothing. (They used to.) So crap is now listed as "NEW" or "LIKE NEW" which drive down prices and profits of both half and their sellers.

In other words no one is listening at eBay/half period. Their sales are going down. We sellers know why - but they are not smart enough to talk or listen to us.

The ratio of things I'm selling used to be 90% half.com and 10% Amazon. NOW it's 90% Amazon and 10% half.com and I see nothing that will stop it from getting worse.

The help "wizard" system at half has pre made questions. I've NEVER run into problems that they have on the pre made questions. They are so elementary that only a brand new computer user would have a question so elementary. I've NEVER been able to find the question or problems I'm having on their pre made problem/question wizard. I've NEVER gotten a reply that solved any of my problems.

So watch out. eBay is going to hit the floor hard. Amazon is smarter, knows it can take market share, and it works harder, and Google is lurking right around the corner. My guess is 90% of eBay sellers are totally POed and will bolt to Google given a reasonable opportunity. At that time it will all be over. This is the internet, when it happens it will happen fast.
