The national dialogue has changed dramatically since 2000,
if not earlier.

Politicians today use rhetoric that would have been unheard
of in more superficially genteel times.

How many leftist politicos likened Bush to Hitler?
That characterization must have made the daily talking
points memos as its use was not confined to outre type
bloggers or commentators.

Your criticisms of Limbaugh for being a hypocrite re:
drug usage are well-taken; however, just remember that if
hyprocrisy were a crime meriting jailtime, half the
democratic leadership would probably be doing 20 to life<VBG>.
