exactly my sentiments.

It is not whether FCBs dump US debt instruments but will they stop buying more.

Furthermore, it may not be up to them. e.g. how is china going to react to something like this?

Or if all of a sudden, our trade is totally balanced. Then where are the FCBs going to find money to buy the debt that we are generating everyday via our fiscal deficits?

Debt in foreign hands are maturing every day. If they are not replaced, is that equivalent to dumping?
