The inspired words in the historical New Testament documents contradict your opinion. Your views are both anti-Christian and opposed to the deepest values of Western/American Civilization and Culture.

From Saint Luke's Gospel:
35: And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.

36: And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.

41: And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit


There are also many examples in the Torah:

Your problem, AS, is not the Republican or Democratic parties, but rather a fundamental spiritual blindness concerning the centrality of a LIVING Christ, and the centrality of Christian values in our American/Western societies--a ship floating without a rudder!
