Down and down she goes ... must be some bad news coming since stock is sinking ahead of earnings which I believe will be announced sometime next week. I guess the results are leaking out and this time nobody is pushing up the price in the days ahead of the announcement. After next week my 80 shares will be worth less. I finally got out of all the Lucent I had in my 401K back right before the last earnings announcement and all I've got left are those 80 shares which I hold myself and I don't think I'll ever sell. My plan is to leave those 80 shares to my heirs. Getting out last Oct 24 has saved me about $1,700 in additional losses. Oops! I just remembered that LUCENT was inviting everyone to listen in when they announce earnings and that will happen on Tuesday, January 24 and not next week as I thought.. Maybe something good will happen in the next 13 days (but 13 isn't lucky .. is it?) Wonder why LUCENT keeps pushing out new announcements from when they usually made them. Last year the announcement came around the 17th of January and not the 24th.
