Enron was a great capitalist company. Totally free enterprise, as in freedom to break all the rules and rip off 80 billion dollars.

You think they're better than the BBC just because it's government-sponsored? The English people are very happy with the non-profit BBC. We could use more fair-minded "socialist" networks ourselves, instead of them all being owned by Bushie-friendly mega-corporations afraid of the FCC. One reason the networks have gone so easy on Bush-Cheney even when it's obvious they're lying, cheating and gouging.

Lesson being, the word socialist is not a bad thing at all. And it has almost nothing to do with communism. That's a big righwight lie. In fact, a rightwing dictatorship is a lot closer to communism. And communist China is ironically the most capitalist place on earth now, though they enslave their people. Bush is a big supporter of communist Chinese slave labor and is borrowing a trillion bucks from them to fund his mountain of deficits.
