I don't think there is any explaining the Kennedy mystique to outsiders, Alan. I've lived here for twenty years and I still don't understand it. You just have to accept that the Kennedys are secular saints in Massachusetts. Nostalgia for JFK would be enough by itself to keep Teddy in office.
