Forgive my advancing the IGT/MIR discussion further, Dan, but I've just walked into a happening and I'm convinced there are bucks to be made here! 1. Yes...IGT is old news...but wait. Emerging from management hirings/firings into 1996, growth, to me, is so gauranteed they can't screw this up! 2nd Q earnings were 4 cents above concensus. Vegas is exploding...newest casino is Monte Carlo, 95% with IGT slots. They've just bought a chunk of a gaming creative/software company for furture game developement. They've also gone global in the last 2 years. 2. MIR. An inspired jugernaut. (both issues fell today on what CNBC called a "rotation") Hey...I ain't selling you this, but if you've signed on with the Wall Street Interactive you'll find it all, under both symbols, right there. Under "News', see that 3 major houses have issued "buys" on IGT in the last 5 weeks. Gambling (though I hate it, and had no use for Vegas, personally) is a reborn industry, as is Vegas. I feel like Peter Lynch. I've seen it...I want in!
