Minutes ago Abby Joseph Cohen appeared on CNBC to discuss the mkts for 2006. She puts a 1400 tgt on the S&P for years end. She believes there will be portfolio movement away form bonds and into stocks. She is optimistic about IT and industrial stocks for this year. She is also expecting investors to focus more on more expensive, better performing cos to invest in. She believes that the mkts will move away from sensitivity to interest rate activity. Doesn't foresee an economic downturn for the mkts in the near future. She does have concerns with heath care inflation. She also says that she believes that the domestic investor will play a big role in this years mkts.
