I'm sure our government thinks it knows all the time that someone is planning on blowing up a city- problem is, they are probably mostly wrong. The exigency excuse can be used to eliminate any protection in our constitution. ANY. I don't buy it. I don't hold my freedom, or the constitution, that cheaply. You are ready to "protect my freedom" by sending a bunch of folks to Iraq to die, and kill thousands of Iraqis, but you won't protect my freedom in the US by losing one city? What's up with that? Are we for dying for freedom, or aren't we? (Now that I think about it, isn't it cheaper just to have people die for freedom here? Rather than shipping people over seas, to die there?- I should add, that's satirical)
