Bush's occupation in Iraq made Al Qaida much stronger. All the experts agree on that. So why would anyone give him credit for making us "safer"? 9-11 happened on his watch after he was warned (and did nothing) then after he did the right thing in Afghanistan and had Osama cornered, he let him go, then changed the subject to Iraq and said he no longer cared about Osama. Huh? Why? Does anyone yet understand why Bush rushed into Iraq? And does anyone not believe Bush-Cheney faked the WMD intel to try and scare and manipulate us and congress? One thing we know. He was planning it from the beginning, even though in the debates in 2000 he lied and said he would have a humble foreign policy and not nation-build.
