13:09 SIRF SiRF Technology: MOT news confirms view on more challenging competitive landscape (30.22 -0.86) -Update- Morgan Stanley believes that news from MOT during the market hours today gives them further conviction SIRF is likely to pull back (likely into the high $20s) and consolidate its strong gains. They say one of the factors expected to drive the near-term stock price consolidation is an increase in the competitive landscape during 2006. They think MOT's news today that their strategic equity investment arm was investing in a SiRF competitor, Global Locate, is likely to cause investors to question their assumptions on SiRF's marketshare within MOT's handset division.
