I see your point. I am surprised that you decided to hold. It was you after all that said a few weeks ago that emc was not good enough to hold.
That is why I trade this particular stock and not every stock I own. I have owned amat and hpq for one year but have no intentions of selling for at least another year. There is still potential there to make more money holding them.
In hindsight you should have gone with ntap. Even before the big jump yesterday on takeover rumors it was already up 10% in the 1st 2 weeks of this year.
