I agree. But until we have complete campaign finance reform, our elected politicians are going to represent the will of special interest contributors and not the will of the voters.

Why in the world should any entity other than an individual registered voter be able to contribute money to a political candidate or campaign? Why should labor unions, drug companies, insurance carriers and defense contractors contribute money. They are not people. They can't vote. Only one reason: to supercede the will of the voters.
We have the illusion of democracy in this country now, but not the real thing. We lost that some time ago.
