Peter, A religion can start out as a wonderful, and ideal, concept, but then human beings get involved, and the initial concept of the religion, goes down the drain. I have to admit, that Christians have been guilty of the same kind of thing, but am happy to say, that they have never tried to rule the whole world, and still have a lot of tolerance for those that believe otherwise. Those the believe that Islam is a virtuous religion, will come to know better as time goes on. Let's just hope that it will not be too late.

One thing that is bothersome, and can be thrown in a Jew's, or Christian's face, is what happened after the exodus. The Bible is clear that God is supposed to have given Moses a list of people who were to be destroyed on the way to the Holy Land, of milk and honey. To me, that is a contradiction of the Christian principle, and makes me wonder if those lists were actually given to Moses by God, or something Moses decided was necessary, and used the God's name falsely.

Yes, there are ample examples that America, and the western world are adopting the attitude of the ancient Romans, and unless we wake up and smell the roses, at some point in the future, we are in danger of the same fall, and destruction.

Not only are history professors biased to the hilt, the history texts have been altered to make it have a slant that did not exist at the time. Most of the history books about WW2, say that the United Nations won the war, when there was no United Nations in existence at that time. Yes, we were, and had, allies among many of the nations of Europe, but that was far from what the United Nations is. It stands to reason, that the author of a history text, is going to have his personal thoughts, and wishes, creep into the book, but is unfair to the future generations.

The professors like the dems, because a majority of them are lazy, and want the privilege to pontificate to young minds.
