I believe its the Phen (phentermine) that is not being recalled.
Also, I believe pondimin (fenflouramine) has been marketed for several years (at least 10) so it surprises me these heart pblms would have not yet been detected. I think its combo use that should be very suspect. Finally, it occurs to me that if the FDA reform legislation includes provisions for company promos on off-label uses, this recent experience may be likely to strengthen any arguments against such provisions.
