Gib, I would like a LOT of species to be extinct.

Killer whales [vicious brutes - ripping the tongues out of whales, terrorizing them, making them beach themselves]
Great white sharks
Bull sharks
Other sharks I suppose
Leeches
Parasitic worms [hydatids etc]
Mosquitoes
Fleas
Rabies
AIDS
H5N1
Chicken pox
Leprosy
Cancer cells
Various humans [I don't know how to define them yet but Osama's right hand man was a good start]

There are swarms of elephants in Africa and they need to be culled. They stopped losing ground long ago and are now becoming pestilent. They are BIG pests when they start marauding.

They don't buy cyberphones or even cellphones, whereas 1000 Chinese will buy a lot of them, so I disagree on the relative values. Plus, the Chinese might invent some good things but the elephants won't.

If killer whales would agree to eat sharks instead, I'd agree with them staying on. They like eating sting rays, so shark is similar. They could dine out for days on a decent great white.
