Hello everyone. Great thread here. I'm new and will contribute when I have something meaningful to say. I'm probably a deflationist in the sense that I believe a bust will occur relatively soon and cause a contraction of credit.

I think Doug Noland is at the forefront of credit bubble analysis (I actually know Doug from my days at Price Waterhouse in Portland, Oregon...he's a great guy). It appears to me the only difference between an inflationist and a deflationist is the amount of inflation we get between now and the ultimate bust. Timing is everything.
