Sheesh, ridiculous.

I have not yet heard even a good hypothetical situation where the 72 hour retroactive warrant hindered national security.

Even if they could come up with a good hypothetical situation, all they would have to do is amend FISA. The idea of the law is that they have some oversight, some checks and balances and things don't run amok.
