Fremont, California (AHN) - A police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop was attacked by an angry pack of Chihuahuas Thursday.

The five chihuahuas had escaped from the teenager's home and attacked the officer in the doorway. The teen had been detained after the traffic incident.

The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to the ankle, and returned to work only a few hours after the incident.
