florida population must have something to do with baby boomers now retiring and moving south to warmer more friendly winter weather. i believe we also read here several months ago the europe increase of buying florida homes for second homes or investments when the dollar was very attractive vs euro. I doubt race , education has a thing to do with ma losing people.. expensive is a good reason their children are moving out because they cannot afford a home in the Boston area. Perhaps that is why cities like Lynn, six miles north on the train are rehab, shoe factories, old buildings into condos in a downtown area that for the last couple decades was all boarded up. Now the up and coming jump on a train at north station and are home in 15 minutes or more as they jump off at the lynn station without paying Boston condo prices.
