The answer to that question is yes....sort of. We embargoed Iraq but it did not stop the oil just slowed it down.

It will be the same with Iran. It will hurt them but then we are made to look bad because the average citizen gets screwed....so they get mileage out of it either way.

All they really need to do is reduce production 20% to make a point. Mind you that would be nothing like Saudi cutting 20%. But Saudi used to have excess production to make up for these things....that is not the case anymore.....
