"The real hypocrisy, however, was the accusation that Intel really didn't make any money over the past 10 years or so because of all the options they handed out. That led to accusations that Intel cooks their books, yada yada. But lo and behold, AMD's own options turn out to be more "expensive" relative to their profits than Intel, and not a peep out of the formerly indignant 'Droids."

No need to revisit the history, Tench. Arguments of your ilk were always that Intel is making tons of money while AMD does not. The Droid's argument was that Intel is not making lots of money, just barely even if properly accounted for actual labor expenses. Historical data on shareholders equity support this assertion. AMD was not really profitable in the past years, so the approach of stock options cost relative to profits is stupid. If you have nearly zero profits, 220% of profits is still nearly a zero. Understand?
