I think it would be a good idea for a miniseries on the History Channel. I've always considered their expedition one of the most remarkable events in the history of our country but, to make a movie with audience appeal, Hollywood would have to dress it up to where it would lose most of it's historical accuracy. (ie: Braveheart, The Patriot). A Bridge Too Far was probably the most historically accurate movies ever made, but the critics hated it and the moviegoers stayed away in droves! Besides, I think most of the younger generation thinks the Lewis and Clark Expedition is a rock group!
